Coaching or counseling?
Coaching focuses on unlocking your potential and is used when you want to learn more effective behaviors or develop personally. Coaching provides you not only with insight but also with practical tools to address your challenges. The emphasis is on personal growth and increasing self-confidence and motivation.
With coaching, you gain clarity on what you truly want, how you want to achieve it, and take concrete steps to reach your goals. But sometimes, even when you know exactly what you want and how to achieve it, you still struggle to make it happen. You may then be experiencing an inner block that is holding you back. In such cases, I use counseling to help you explore and address this block, clearing the way to achieve your dreams and goals.
Counseling focuses on addressing and resolving underlying issues and can be applied when you are experiencing (temporary) psychosocial challenges, such as stress, overload, exhaustion, anxiety, fear of failure, perfectionism, gloominess, grief or loss experiences, low self-esteem or a lack of self-confidence.
